Little, Director <br /> <br />Trail Grant Approval <br /> <br />We are pleased to tell you that we are awarded the $501000.00 grant from the Federal <br />Recreation Trails Program (Approved by Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners <br />January 28, 2002). The grant is managed by NCDENR. The grant money will be used <br />to develop a walking trail and greenway link at North Cabarrus Park. <br /> <br />This is a reimbursable grant. Therefore we need approval to make a budget <br />amendment of $50,000.00.
