There is still a great need for <br /> transportation system improvements, and you already know that fight-of-way <br /> a.cquJ:gition costs exceeded budget for some of the 13 projects. We can <br />already see the impact of the lack of NCDOT maintenance funds on NCDOT streets <br />ih:. Concord . The $40,000 amount frozen was for City streets that do not qualify for <br />~ow~l.l Bill funding. <br /> <br /> :~, <br /> <br />N. ~eighborhood Traffic Calming - A.~ you It. now one of the biggest concerns within <br />~.eigbborhoods is speeding. To tackle this problem we need enforcement (see Police <br />~com,,rncndatJ. on) and use ~arc£ully targ~cd traffic calmJJag .tec.hniques to slow <br />geople down, City personnel are working with a number of neighborhoods, such as <br />~g~ and Carriage Downs, on this problem.
