TRAVEL - Travel expenses will be needed for System Manager to travel to each of <br />the sites. Mileage will also be needed to attend training sessions as well as to <br />purchase needed supplies for training session sponsored by Cooperative Extension <br />and 4-H. 700 miles @ 32.5 per milo - $227.5~) ' <br /> <br />INCENTIVES - Incentives will be used to purchase needed supplies to enable them <br />to perform at a higher standard on the rating scale. System Manager will conduct <br />observations to determine supplies and equipment needed to perform at a higher <br />star rating. Examples: portable storage units; multicultural kits, games and dolls; <br />school age resource books, and portable outdoor play equipment. <br /> <br />STAFF TRAINING - One of the greatest budget items needed to make this process <br />successful will be to provide quality training sessions. This area will be extremely <br />important for the rated license process to be fulfilled. Sites will be receiving <br />excellent training on staff relations, teamwork, nutritious snacks and <br />indoor/outdoor environment. This money will also be used to send staff back to <br />school to take needed college courses to go from a two star to at least a three <br />star. <br /> <br />SALARY - Beverly Bollenbecker, 4-H Afterschool Coordinator, will act as the <br />System Manager, Beverly is already employed by Cooperative Extension. Her <br />training with the accreditation process, BSAC trainer, RL-SAC trainer, and 6 years <br />working with the 4-H af~erschool program qualifies her to provide suPport and <br />technical assistance to the two sites. All.salary time will be considered as an inkind <br />contribution, 4-H Afterschool Coordinator salary- 912/hour @ 75 hours <br /> <br />-8- <br /> <br /> <br />
