Ms. Richards is employed by M. Taylor
& Company Hoteliers in Charlotte. She is recommended for re-appointment because of her
outstanding service to the Tourism Authority and her knowledge of the hospitality and tourism
industry, She has served the board well since May 1993.: Mr, Howard owns and operates Jay
Howard Events, an events management company located in Concord. JHE manages the 600
Festival including Food Lion Speed Street and the Concord based Airshow and the pre-race shows
at Lowe's Motor Speedway and other national sporting events.
