COMPARISON AND ANALYSIS WITH EXISTING ORDINANCE <br /> <br />ARTICLE 7 <br /> <br />Purpose: The purpose of these landscaping, screening, and buffer <br />requirements is to provide standards that ~ili protect the health, safety, and <br />general welfare of the public, enhance property values, improve the appearance <br />of the community, and preserve natural resources, trees, and native plants. <br />Planting yard regulations are established herein to minimize potential conflicts <br />between abutting development, enhance the appearance of buildings and <br />parking lots, and create a unified and attractive streetscape.
