COMPAR/SON AND ANALYSTS WZTH EXISTING ORDZNANCE <br /> <br />ARTICLE 11 <br /> <br />Purpose: The purpose of this article is to establish specific design standards <br />for common land uses that pay specific attention to site design. <br /> <br />Major Points Discussed: <br />· Explains what is permitted and not for outdoor and solid waste storage units <br /> in both residential and non-residential districts. <br />· Establishes design standards for multi-family sites in regard to access, <br /> parking, open space, pedestrian facilities, dimensional and density standards, <br /> building design, utility and lighting, recycling facilities, and unit ownership. <br />· Discusses the standards for Outdoor Storage and Solid Waste Storage. <br />· Discusses the design standards for Multi-Family Residential. <br />· Discusses the design standards for Shopping Centers and Super Stores. <br />· Discusses the design standards for Zero Lot Line Developments. <br />· Discusses the supplemental design standards for the Center City District. <br />· Discusses the supplemental design standards for the Campus Development <br /> District, including dimensional requirements, landscaping requirements, and <br /> architectural requirements. <br />· Discusses the supplemental design standards for the Light industrial <br /> District. <br /> <br />Major Similarities/Differences: <br />11.1 Chapter Seven of the current ordinance details items that are discussed in <br />Article 11. The current ordinance separate the standards for outdoor storage by <br />use, similar to the UDO that does so by separating outdoor storage standards by <br />more general subsections. <br /> <br />11.2 These Sections compile topics discussed in various sections of the current <br /> ordinance into subsection.
