BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />at the <br /> <br />Extract of minutes of a meeting regarding a resolution approving <br />the selection of bond counsel for the proposed exempt facility <br />revenue bonds to be issued by The Cabarrus CoUnty Industrial <br />Facilities and Pollution Control Financing Authority. <br /> <br />The Board of Commissioners of Cabarms County, North Carolina met in regular session <br /> <br />in Concord, North Carolina at <br /> <br />__.M.,on ,2001. <br /> <br />The following Commissioners were: <br />Present: <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br /> Chairman announced that the Board of Commissioners of Cabarms <br /> <br />County, North Carolina had been requested by Corning Incorporated (the "Company") to <br />approve the law firm of Chapman and Cutler to serve as bond counsel in connection with the <br />proposed issuance by The Cabarms County Industrial Facilities and Pollution Control Financing <br />Authority of its exempt facility revenue bonds for the purpose of financing the cost of sewage <br />and solid waste disposal facilities to be located in Cabarms CoUnty and used in connection with <br />the Company's manufacturing complex being constructed near the City of Concord. <br /> <br /> Commissioner then introduced Resolution No. , a copy of <br /> <br />which was distributed to each Commissioner and the title of which was read as follows: <br /> <br />1180134.01.03.
