Resolution No. 2001- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Stonewall Jackson School has been a part of our community for many <br />years; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, because of changes that have been made in recent years, the school now has <br />several buildings previously used as cottages that are vacant, but of historic significance; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, even though these vacant buildings have fallen into a state of disrepair, they <br />are still in a condition that they can be restored; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a development team with outstanding credentials and a proven track record <br />in the successful adaptive reuse of historic properties has expressed an interest in restoring these <br />buildings. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Cabarms County Board of <br />Commissioners does hereby support the restoration of these properties and encourage the <br />Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention to move forward with this sale. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this __ day of , 2001. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />By: <br /> <br />Arne L.
