Assisted staff at Kannapolis village in decorating facility for the holidays. <br /> <br />15. Christmas prog~-am/p~esentafion made through the local F. xtension H0memalrexs at Manodaouse Assisted Living. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE STRENGTHS <br /> <br />1. Good worlfiug relationship with the staff and fadlity administrators. <br /> <br />2. Good working relationship with regional Ombudsman and both Cabatms County Adult Home Specialists. <br /> <br />3. Excellent rapport with residents and families dnring facility visits. <br /> <br />4. Active in the community through other volunteer opportunities in churches and civic groups. <br /> <br />5. Despite low numbe~-s of committee members this year, all required visits were completed in a timely manner. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE CHALLENGES <br /> <br />1. Lack of enough committee members. <br /> <br />2. Lack of participation of some committee members due to lack of commitment, lack of interest or time, or lack of <br /> experience~ <br /> <br />3. Staffing turnover and lack of training in fadlities. <br /> <br />4. 1' Jmlted awareness in both the public and long te~n caze communities of the committee and their function. <br /> <br />5.
