CHILD SUPPORT AWARENESS MONTH <br /> IN CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />A PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, .the welfare of our children is'the most important'responsibility we have as <br />parents. A child should be able to depend on support from both parents;-and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, children who do not receive adequate financial and emotional support from <br />both parents may experience greater difficulty in becoming healthy, happy, and productive <br />citizens of this County. In such cases, the taxpayers of this County support the children <br />whose parents fail to meet this responsibility; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, many concerned and dedicated judges, district attorneys, clerks of court, <br />sheriffs' personnel, and child support professionals work to provide this service to <br />Cabarrus County's children.., our future; <br /> <br />NOW, TitEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners does hereby proclaim the momh of April, 2001 as <br /> <br />CI:III,D SUPPORT AWARENESS MONTH IN CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />and urges all parents who are currently under court order to regularly pay their child <br />support. <br /> <br />This the 26th day of March 2001 <br /> <br />Ame L.
