The maps are tearing, curling and the ink is getting lighter. With the maps <br />imaged, we will not have to use the original ones to make copies. After imaging, they <br />can also be put on the Internet with the other records. There are 3766 maps recorded at <br />this time. The cost of this project is approximately $23,000. July 1, 2001, we will begin <br />the full implementation of imaging all land records. <br /> <br /> <br />
