CABARRUS COUNTY - CURRENT MEMBERSHIP Cabanus County has four (4) members on the twenty-three (23) member Centralina Workfome Development Board (WDB). The Cabarrus County Commissioners will select and approve nominations for WDB members based on the slate of nominations presented by the appropriate agencies and organizations listed under "General Information" and "Membership". Each WDB member is appointed to serve a two-year term. Upon approval by the county commissioners, individuals may be reappointed. Emily Behm was appointed in January 2001. SPECIFIC REQUESTS Please obtain nominations and appoint two (2) individuals to fill the terms of July 1, 2001 - June 30, 2003. Nominations and appointments to fill the categories of Education and $oeial Services are requested. Ms. Behm is eligible for reappointment as the Education representative. Since her addition to the board, Ms. Behm is an excellent board member and serves on the board's Accountability Committee. The Centralina WDB requests that Ms. Emily Bebm be reappointed. Mr. Polk is eligible for reappointment as the Social Services representative. Mr. Polk is an outstanding board member. He is currently chair of the board's regional Youth Council and also is a member of the board's Chartering Review Committee. His expertise and experience are invaluable to the board. The Centralina WDB requests that Mr. James Polk be reappointed.
