Box 707 <br />Concord, NC 28026-0707 <br /> <br />Subject: <br /> <br />Driveway Entrance Permit No. C-1172, SR 1778, Orphanage Rd., North Cabarrus Park <br /> <br />· Dear Mr. Little: <br /> <br />Enclosed is an executed copy of the subject Driveway Entrance Permit, which has.been reviewed by the appropriate <br />staff agencies within the Division of Highways. <br /> <br />The permit covers the following: <br /> <br /> Construction of one (1) thirty-eight ~38') enlrance with 100' - 15" RCP on SR 1778, reconfiguratign of the <br /> intersectibn with Slt. 1745, turn lanes and related construction including drainage modifications. <br /> <br />Additionally, $40,000 has been secured, referenced as W.O. # 6.660008, for the design and installation of a traffic <br />signal. The plans have been forwarded to Ms. Tania Sanders, Assistant Division Traffic Engineer, '..m an effort t.o <br />have the signal in plac? and operational by the Septembex 29, 2091 scheduled opening date ( per Mr. Steve Little). <br /> <br />My office is in receipt of a Performance & Indemnity Bond in the amount of $40,000.00 that will be held in the <br />District I Office for one (1) year after completion of the entrance and related construction. This approval is subject <br />to the attached Special Provisions. <br /> <br />The approval for the construction of sidewalk, planned by the City of Kannapolis, is not included herein. NCDOT <br />does not maintain sidewalk; however, its construction within the right of way will'require an encroachment <br />agreement. <br /> Sincerely, . <br /> J.~.
