CITY OF KAKNAPOLIS RAILROAD DEPOT CAPITAL PROJECT ORDINANCE BE 1T ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Kannapolis that pursuant to Section 13.2 Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of Nor& Carolina, the following Capital Project Ordinance is hereby adopted: SECTION 1. The project authorized consists ofla~d acquisition, renovation of an e~isting building for use as an interim station, and the construction of a new Railroad Depot in Kannapolis. SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby directed to proceed with the Capital Project in compliance within the North Carolina General Statutes and within the budget contained herein. SECTION 3. The following revenues are anticipated to be available to complete this proj~ SECTION Transfer ~rom General Fund $ 37,500 Proceeds from Cannon Foundation $ 75,000 ._ $112,500 The following amounts are appropriated for the project: $112,500 SECTION $. The F'mance Director is hereby directed to maintain within the Capital Project Fund sufficient specific detailed accounting records to provide for accounting to the City Council as required by North Carolina law. SECTION 6. The Finance Director is directed ~o report quarterly on the financial status of each project dement in Section 4 and on the total project revenues. SECTION 7. The Budget Officer is directed to include a detailed analysis of past and future costs and revenues on this project in ,nnual budget information presented to City Council. SECTION 8. The City Manager is hereby ~uthorized to transfer funds fi-om one line item lo another rme item without further approval by the City CounCil. SECTION 9. Copies ofthis Capital Project Ordinance shall be made available to the Budget Officer and the Finance Director for direction in carrying out this project.
