CITY OF KAKNAPOLIS <br /> RAILROAD DEPOT <br />CAPITAL PROJECT ORDINANCE <br /> <br />BE 1T ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Kannapolis that pursuant to <br />Section 13.2 Chapter 159 of the General Statutes of Nor& Carolina, the following Capital <br />Project Ordinance is hereby adopted: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The project authorized consists ofla~d acquisition, <br />renovation of an e~isting building for use as an interim station, and the <br />construction of a new Railroad Depot in Kannapolis. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby directed to proceed with the <br />Capital Project in compliance within the North Carolina General Statutes and <br />within the budget contained herein. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. The following revenues are anticipated to be available to <br />complete this proj~ <br /> <br />SECTION <br /> <br />Transfer ~rom General Fund $ 37,500 <br />Proceeds from Cannon Foundation $ 75,000 <br /> ._ $112,500 <br /> <br />The following amounts are appropriated for the project: <br /> <br />$112,500 <br /> <br />SECTION $. The F'mance Director is hereby directed to maintain within <br />the Capital Project Fund sufficient specific detailed accounting records to provide <br />for accounting to the City Council as required by North Carolina law. <br /> <br />SECTION 6. The Finance Director is directed ~o report quarterly on the <br />financial status of each project dement in Section 4 and on the total project <br />revenues. <br /> <br />SECTION 7. The Budget Officer is directed to include a detailed <br />analysis of past and future costs and revenues on this project in ,nnual budget <br />information presented to City Council. <br /> <br />SECTION 8. The City Manager is hereby ~uthorized to transfer funds <br />fi-om one line item lo another rme item without further approval by the City <br />CounCil. <br /> <br />SECTION 9. Copies ofthis Capital Project Ordinance shall be made <br />available to the Budget Officer and the Finance Director for direction in carrying <br />out this project. <br /> <br /> <br />
