FRANCi~SE RF~QUEST

Secondary Ambulance Provider Convalescent Service

OBJECTIVE/SUMMARY

The objective of this Franchise Request is to establish a Secondary
Ambulance Provider designed to handle convalescent transportation of the
sick or injured in Cabarms County. This service is to be provided in
conjunction with a non-emergency wheelchair transport that will provide an
altemative to convalescent stretcher transportation.

With the ever-increasing costs of healthcare, we are proposing a tiered
service that will be able to handle wheelchair, geriatric choir and convalescent
stretcher transportation. In addition, ambulatory patients could be added to
the service in the near future without any major conflict. This service will
allow the current Emergency Medical Service continue providing the
coverage for the citizens of Cabarms County. With the increase in population
and ever expanding demographics, the call volume for EMS will continue to
increase thus resulting in the main goal of EMS is just that..Xmergency
Medical Services.

In addition, current restrictions that have been placed on the extended
healthcare facilities have them searching for a more affordable approach to
transportation. This affordable approach we feel is SPECIALIZED
TRANSPORT.
