Little, Director <br />Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Department <br /> <br />Subject: <br /> <br />Budget Amendment to Budget the Contribution from the Cabarrus <br />Soccer Association for the Proposed Soccer Complex at Stonewall <br />Jackson Properties. <br /> <br />According to the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners approved agreement <br />with Cabarrus Soccer Association, Cabarrus Soccer Association agreed to <br />contribute $300,000 in cash over a three-year period to the County to help defer <br />the cost of design and development of the soccer complex. The CSA pledges <br />are payable in annual payments of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000), <br />due and payable at any time during the year, but at the latest by December 31 of <br />each of the following years: 2001, 2002, and 2003. <br /> <br />With the CSA contribution of $40,000, their pledge of $60,000 is due by <br />December 31,2001.
