I CABARIiUS COUN~ J <br /> NORTH OANO[INA <br /> <br />To: Cabarms County Board of Commissioners <br /> <br />From: Kelly Sifford, AICP <br /> <br />Date: August 10, 2001 <br /> <br />Re: Mount Pleasant Planning and Zoning Board appointments <br /> <br />On Monday, August 6, 2001 at the Mount Pleasant Town Board regular meeting, the <br />Town Board nominated Neil Shouse and Mike Mills to serve as the extraterritorial <br />jurisdiction members of the Mount Pleasant Planning and Zoning Board. The Board also <br />elected to nominate Joe Ellington, of the Mount Pleasant extraterritorial jurisdiction, as <br />an alternate Planning and Zoning member. This is in compliance with the Mount <br />Pleasant UDO which allows for one alternate member to be appointed. This will <br />alleviate a recent problem that has arisen. The Mount Pleasant Planning and Zoning <br />Board has had difficulty obtaining a quorum for the past two months. We hope that the <br />alternate will solve this problem. <br /> <br />Please consider appointing the aforementioned nominations to the Mount Pleasant <br />Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br /> Planning Services Division <br /> <br />P.
