We were requested by <br />flxis organization to provide a recommendation to the Caharrus County Commission for <br />this appointment. The request came from David Hollars, Director of the Cen~ralina <br />WorlaCorce Development Board, and he may be reached at 704/345~2717 or at <br />dhollars _(&~a~i~.om ffyou have any questions or concerns. <br /> <br /> Mr. Hinnant is currently a member of the Workforee Development Steering <br />Committee ofth~ Chamber and is Chairman of the Business Technologies Career <br />Council that is developing a program to integrate studems from the Cabarras County and <br />Kannapolis School systems into the business community. <br /> <br /> Mark Whitley, Chairman of Cenlz~n~ Worlcforc~ Development Board, has <br />contacted Mr. Hinnant concerning his willingness to serve if appointed by the <br />Commissioners and Mr. Hinnant has expressed an eagerness to be a part of this regional <br />initiative ifh~ is selected. Mr, Hinnant is a small businessman with a background as a <br />leader in state agencies.
