Pleasant <br /> <br />It has been brought to our attention that Mt. Pleasant has not completed all the steps <br />required for reduced flood insurance rates in the town limits.. <br /> <br />The State and FEMA have several requirements to make the reduction in rates available, <br />which have to be completed by the County and/or the town. Attached is an agreement <br />that the Commissioners need to approve for the program. The agreement has to be <br />adopted by the municipality, as evidenced by the required signatures. Development <br />Services and our office are currently following the State and FEMA requirements in the <br />jurisdiction as standard procedure. <br /> <br />I would appreciate you including this agreement for approval at the August <br />Commissioner's meeting.
