Contract <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br />CONCORD, NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />This contract is entered into this . day of <br />County. <br /> <br />2001, by the Town of Midland and Cabarrus <br /> <br />The Town of Midland and Cabarrus County, in consideration of the mutual covenants, promises and <br />agreements herein contained, agree as follows: <br /> <br />Scope of Work: Cabarrus County shall provide to the Town of Midland the services set forth in the Contract <br />Documents consisting of planning and zoning review and enforcement for a per/od from July 1, 2001 <br />through June 30, 2002 (Contract Term). <br /> <br />The scope of services shall include long range planning, subdivision regulation, zoning plan review, zoning <br />permitting, zoning enforcement and flood plain regulation. Board of Adjustment and Planning Board <br />functions shall be provided through the Midland Planning & Zoning Commission with staff support and <br />training to be provided by County staff. This scope of services shall not include annexation activity except <br />as it relates to the administrative rezoning of annexed properties. An update to the Midland Area Plan is not <br />included in the scope of this contract as it is not included in the Planning Services work schedule for the <br />contract term. <br /> <br />The Town of Midland shall supply a Clerk for the Midland Planning & Zoning Commission. The Clerk shall <br />be responsible for all compiling meeting agendas, mailing of all material to Planning & Zoning Commission <br />members, minutes of all meetings, and record keeping. <br /> <br />Contract Documents: The Contract Documents consist of this signed Contract form and any Exhibits <br />incorporated herein. <br /> <br />Compensation and Method of Payment: For satisfactorily providing all services described and required in <br />the Contract Documents, Cabarrus County shall receive no direct payment from the Town of Midland but <br />shall retain all planning and zoning permit and review fees up to a total of $1,500.00.
