-2- <br /> <br /> The selection committee recommended W.K. Dickson & Company, Inc. to <br />perform the professional services for Phase III Development of North Cabarrus <br />Park. W.K. Dickson will prepare survey, construction documents, and <br />construction administration for Phase III of this project. The following is a brief <br />summary of this contract agreement: <br /> <br />· Topographic Survey $10,200 <br />· Wetland Delineation/Assistance 3,000 <br />· Basic Design Services (Phase III) 28,900 <br />· Construction Administration 12,000 <br />· Construction Stakeout 10.800 <br /> <br />Total Proposal for the <br />W.K. Dickson Services Agreement <br /> <br />$64,900 <br /> <br /> The anticipated construction budget is $489,500 with the following <br />facilities proposed: five (5) individual picnic sites, a playground area, (2) informal <br />multipurpose athletic fields, boardwalks/decks at the pond, gravel walking trail <br />system, expanded parking lot, landscaping, erosion control and earthwork. <br /> <br /> Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners approved funds to complete <br />Phase III of North Cabarrus Park. <br /> <br />Thank you for your review and consideration concerning this agreement. <br /> <br /> <br />
