Resolution No. 200]-- <br /> <br />NORTH CAROLINA STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />AND HIGHWAY SAFETY REQUEST FOR ABANDONMENT FROM <br />STATE MAINTAINED SECONDARY ROAD SYSTEM <br /> <br />North Carolina <br />County of Cabarrus <br />Road Description Portion of Foil Road, SR 2605 <br />Length to be abandoned 0.06 mile Length to be Retained (if applicable) 0.74 mile <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the attached petition has been filed with the Board of County Commissioners of the <br />County of Cabarms requesting that the above described road, the location of which has been indicated in <br />red on the attached map, be abandoned from the Secondary Road System; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners is of the opinion that the above described road <br />should be abandoned from the Secondary Road System, if the road meets minimum standards and criteria <br />established by the Division of Highways of the Department of Transportation and Highway Safety for the <br />abandonment of roads from the System. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of the County of <br />Cabarrus that the Division of Highways is hereby requested to review the above-described road, and to <br />cease maintenance of same road if it meets established standards and criteria. <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE <br /> <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the Board of Conumissioners of the County of <br />Cabarrus at a meeting on the day of ,2001. <br /> <br />WITNESS my hand and official seal this the __ day of ,2001. <br /> <br />Clerk, Board of Commissioners <br />County of Cabarms <br /> <br />Form SR-2 (7-77) <br />PLEASE NOTE: <br />Forward direct with request to the Division Engineer, Division of Highways <br /> <br /> <br />
