SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Listed <br /> <br />below are just a few of the services that The Ferguson Group provides. <br /> <br />Meet with local officials and staffto define goals and objectives. <br /> <br />Develop strategies consistent with federal agendas for accomplishing defined goals <br />and objectives. <br /> <br />Assist in the preparation of funding requests to Congress and the federal agencies, <br />including what programs to target and how to properly word and format the request to <br />meet criteria of the targeted program. <br /> <br />Provide specialized assistance in expediting and processing grant applications <br />submitted to federal agencies. <br /> <br />Act as liaison with the congressional delegation, as well as facilitate meetings with <br />other key Members of Congress and Senators and their staff, and federal agency <br />officials and staff. <br /> <br />Prepare briefing sheets, talking points and any other materials needed for meetings, <br />and assist in the preparation of testimony before congressional hearings. We help you <br />become your best advocate. <br /> <br />Draft support letters, letters of request for assistance and all other support materials <br />needed to ensure the success of goals and objectives. <br /> <br />Review and report on all pertinent, pending legislation and regulations, including all <br />prelegislative session committee meetings, hearings and conferences. <br /> <br />Provide periodic written, verbal and electronic reports. <br /> <br />Attend all relevant industry meetings in Washington in order to provide up to the <br />minute knowledge (and advanced information when available) of federal legislative <br />and regulatory initiatives. <br /> <br />Actively participate in the ongoing legislative process to ensure that goals and <br />objectives are met and the desired level of federal funding is secured. <br /> <br /> <br />
