There will be further discussions between County <br />staff and State officials to review opportunities concerning Reed Gold Mine. <br /> <br />Closed Session <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of Chairma~ Fennel, seconded by Commissioner Fkivette and <br />unanimously carried, the Board voted to go into Closed Session to consult <br />with the County Attorney as authorized by North Carolina General Statute 143- <br />318.11(a)(3) and to discuss matters relating to the location or expansion of <br />industries or other businesses in Cabarrus County as authorized by North <br />Carolina General Statute 143-318.11(a) (4). <br /> <br /> UPON MOTION of C~airman Fennel, seconded by Commissioner Privette and <br />unanimously carried, the Board moved to end the Closed Session. <br /> <br /> No action was reported from the Closed Session. <br /> <br />Recess of Meeti~q' <br /> <br /> There being no further business to come before the Board, Chairman <br />Fennel recessed the meeting at 9:55 p.m. until 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, October <br />13, 2001, in the Multipurpose Room at the Governmental Center. <br /> <br />Clerk to the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
