Cabarrus County Information Technology Services <br /> <br />Proposed Fee Schedule <br /> <br />ICAS~RUS C~UmYI <br /> IIIII (AHIIIA <br /> <br />Purpose: <br /> <br />To propose general guidelines, pricing, methods of transfer, and availability of public Cabarrus <br />County data. <br /> <br />Guiding Principles: <br /> <br />1. Cabarrus County ITS is committed to providing the public with information that is usable, <br /> current and delivered in a timely manner. <br />2. In all cases, priority will be given to performing County-mandated functions. The <br /> availability and delivery time for requested information will depend on staff availability and <br /> workload. <br />3. Other public sector agencies take priority over the private sector. <br /> <br />Data Requests <br />Clients requesting copies of data are required to make or submit such requests in writing. A <br />prompt response to all requests will be provided. If the request is granted, the copies shall be <br />provided as soon as possible. If the request s denied, the denial shall be accompanied by an <br />explanation of the basis for denial. <br /> <br />Exceptions <br />Reciprocal agreements may be made with other public or private agencies to encourage the <br />exchange of data and services that are mutually beneficial to both parties. <br /> <br />As a condition of providing electronic GIS data, Cabarrus County reserves the right to require <br />that the data requester agree in writing that the data will not be sold or otherwise used for trade <br />or commemial purposes.
