As you are aware, Rhein Interests of Charlotte,L.L.C. has an agreement <br />with Westbrook Highland Creek, L.L.C. to jointly construct the portion ofHighl/md. Creek in <br />Cabanas County. we have submitted, for approval, a Preliminary Plan indicating 1261 lots in. <br />Cabarrus County. Prior approvals currently allow for the construction of 1134 lots. The <br />following outlines the terms ofofir proposal: <br /> <br /> The project wiH be the con~tm6tion of Christenbury Road on a new a~ignment fi.om the <br /> Concord Mills Blvd./Derita Road intersection to existing Christenbury Road <br /> approximately 300 feet east of Bear~t Road, as indicated'on the attached sketch. It will be <br /> a two-lane, 24' Wide roadway Constructed in a 120 foot Wide fight of way. It w/il be a <br /> "ditch-type" roadway with no sidewalks. <br /> Right of way'..and airy requ/ired'construction easements for the project to be acquired by <br /> the CoUnty. <br />Highland Creek will enter into an agreement with the County ~o allow the project to be <br />privatply constructed with public funding. Highland Creek'will assumb the responsibility <br />for design, permitting and construction for the project. The Agreement will be prepared <br />by the Cotmty. No fees will be collected by Highland Creek ~o perfom~ the construction <br />management services.
