Box 707 <br />Concord, NC 28026-0707 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Fennel, <br /> <br />I am writing in reference to the letter that I recently sent you dated October 3, 2001, regarding <br />Mrs. Susan Caudle's appointment to the Home and Community Care Block Grant (HCCBG) <br />Advisory Committee. As I previously stressed and as encouraged by Mr. Blair Bennett, we <br />believe that as a service provider of HCCBG funding, it is important for Mrs. Caudle to represent <br />both adult day care and adult day health services on this committee. <br /> <br />This letter is to inquire about the status of our request and to share some information that <br />Coltrane LIFE Center recently received. The enclosed information that we recently received <br />from Centralina Area Agency on Aging addresses the Home and Community Care Block Grant <br />committee. As stated on the attached sheet, the HCCBG Advisory Committee "must be <br />composed of...private providers of aging services." We appreciate your consideration in this <br />matter and feel confident that you will support the appointment of Mrs. Caudle to this committee <br />as she can best represent the needs and services of adult day care and adult day health recipients. <br /> <br />Thank you for the work that you do in this community and your commitment to the well being of <br />Cabarrus County citizens.
