231 DRAFT Revised Fee Schedule for Services Provided by Information Tec~nolo~ Services UPON MOTION of Chairman Fennel, seconded by Vice Chairman Carruth and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following revised Fee Schedule for Information Technology Services (ITS) as submitted by Ms. Jean Kennedy, ITS Director: Cabarru$ County Information Technology Services Fee Schedule Purpose: To propose general guidelines, pricing, methods of transfer, and availability of public Cabarrus County data. Guidinq Principles: 1. Cabarrus County ITS is committed to providing the public with informatiDn that is usable, current and delivered in a timely manner. 2. In all cases, priority will be given tc performing County-mandated functions. The availability and delivery time for requested information will depend on staff availability and workload. 3. Other public sector agencies take priority over the private sector. Data Requests Clients requesting copies of data are required .to make or submit such r~quests in writing. A prompt response to all requests will be provided. If the request is granted, the copies shall be provided as soon as possible. If the request is denied, the denial shall be accompanied by an explanation of the basis for denial. Exceptions Reciprocal agreements may be made with other public or private agencies to encourage the exchange of data and services that are mutually beneficial to both parties. As a condition of providing electronic GIB data, Cabarrus County reserves the right to require that the data requester agree in writing that the data will not be sold or otherwise used for trade or commercial purposes.
