Resolution No. 2000- <br /> <br /> NORTH CAROLINA STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />REQUEST FOR ABANDOMENT FROM STATE MAINTAINED SECONDARY. ROAD SYSTEM <br /> <br />North Carolina <br />County of Cabarrus <br />Road description Portion of Dr. Floyd Road (SR 2482) Approximately 915 feet <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, the attached petition has been filed with the Board of <br />County Commissioners of the County of'Cabarrus requesting that <br />the above described road, the location of which has been indicated in <br />red on the attached maD, be abandoned from the Secondary Road System; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners is of the opinion that the <br />above described road should be abandoned from the Secondary Road <br />System, if the road meets minimum standards and criteria established <br />by the Division of Highways of the Department of Transportation for <br />the abandonment of roads from the System. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners <br />of the County of Cabarrus that the DiviSion of Highways is <br />hereby requested to review the above described road, and to cease <br />maintenance of same road it it meets established standards and criteria. <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE <br /> <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the Board of Comm- <br />issioners of the County of at a meeting on the <br />day of , , and a~pears on the minutes of <br />the said Commission. <br /> <br />WITNESS my hand and official seal this the __ <br /> <br />day of ., <br /> <br />Clerk, Board of Commissioners <br />County of <br /> <br /> <br />
