DRAFT <br /> <br />AMENDMENT TO CABARRUS COUNTY MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />Budget and Support: <br /> <br /> The County Extension Director will prepare and submit an annual budget <br />request to the County Board of Commissioners for the county's support of salaries <br />and operating expenses as outlined below: <br /> <br />A. Cabarrus County will pay 50% of the salaries of the County Extension <br />Director, 5 County Extension Agents, 3 County Extension Secretaries, and 2 EFNEP <br />Program Assistants. <br /> <br />B. Cabarrus County will allocate adequate operating expenses to ensure <br />program excellence and growth. <br /> <br />C. The North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service will pay 50% of the <br />salaries of the County Extension Director, 5 County Extension Agents, 3 County <br />Extension Secretaries, and 2 EFNEP Program Assistants. <br /> <br />D. The North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service will provide an allocation <br />for travel expenses, penalty mail postage, and interned service for the county <br />center. <br /> <br />E. The supervision of all employees in the county center is the responsibility of <br />the County Extension Director. The performance evaluation methods will include <br />the approved process through the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service <br />with the consultation of the Cabarrus County Manager for all County Extension <br />Agents and the joint review with the District Extension Director for the evaluation <br />of the County Extension Director. <br /> <br /> <br />
