WHEREAS, the County, as agent for the School Board, and by and with its <br />consent, adopted a Resolution at its regular meeting on February 21, 2000, determining <br />that the Exchange is appropriate, and for ten (10) days in advance of its meeting on <br />March 20, 2000, has advertised its intention to consider a resolution authorizing the <br />Exchange; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, no one has objected to the Exchange in advance of the regular <br />meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the County scheduled for 6:30 p.m., on March <br />20, 2000. <br /> <br /> NOW, THF. REFORE, upon receipt from J & B of a deed for the 61-Acre Tract <br />and the execution of an agreement between J & B and the County regarding additional <br />consideration consistent with the Letter and this Resolution, the Cabarms County Board <br />of Commissioners, as agent for the Cabarrus County Board of Education, and by and with <br />its consent, hereby resolves to transfer the Odell School Property to J & B in exchange <br />for the 61-Acre Tract and additional consideration consistent with the terms of the Letter <br />and the Resolution, and hereby authorizes the Chair to execute those instruments <br /> <br />consistent therewith. <br /> This the <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />__ day of March, 2000. <br /> <br />CABARRUS COUNTY <br /> <br />By: <br /> <br />Arne Fennel <br />Chair, Cabarms County <br />Board of Commissioners <br /> <br />Frankie F.
