At our annual meeting on <br />August 9, 2000, two of the three members will be elected to the board of Directors and will be expected to <br />attend our monthly meetings. The meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 9:00 am. <br /> <br />CDC assists small business owners in our region to expand and create new jobs by providing fixed asset <br />financing through SBA. Our directors review the new loan applications and establish the policies and <br />procedures of our organization. Due to the technical nature of CDC's work and because SBA's 504 program <br />is somewhat complex, we benefit by keeping experienced directors familiar with the program, for as long as <br />they are willing to serve and participate. <br /> <br />Because the CDC provides fixed asset financing to small businesses throughout the region, and we would <br />appreciate the appointment of members who have commercial lending experience and are familiar with <br />business financing and other business policies and procedures. <br /> <br />During the current fiscal year, July 1, 1999, through the present, your appointments participated as follows: <br /> <br />Member <br /> <br />Attendance/Meetings <br /> <br />Branson Jones 6 of 7 86% <br /> 12/0 <br />Eddie B.
