Little <br />Cabarrus County Parks and Recreation Department <br /> <br />Subject: W.W. Flowe Park Restroom/Concession Building Bids <br /> <br /> This memorandum is in reference to the W.W. Flowe Park <br />restroom/concession building bids. The building was formally advertised in The <br />Independent Tribune on Sunday, July 9, 2000. Three formal bids were received <br />for the bid opening on July 24, 2000. Following is a summary of these bids: <br /> <br />Company Name <br /> <br />Base Bid <br /> <br />1. Deconti Construction Services, Inc. $214,000 <br />2. Streamline, LLC $182,000 <br />3. T.K. Browne Construction $177,571 <br /> <br /> The iow bidder was T.K. Browne Construction of Charlotte in the amount <br />of $177,571; therefore, we would like to recommend T.K. Browne be awarded the <br />W.W. Flowe Park restroom/concession building construction contract. These <br />funds have been approved by Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners in the <br />2000-2001 Fiscal Budget.
