BACKGROUND INFORMATION <br /> <br />4-H is the youth component of the Cooperative Extension Program. Today's <br />Cabarrus County 4-H program involves over 2,000 Cabarrus youth and <br />almost 500 adult and teen leaders. Youth can participate in one of the 16 <br />local 4-H clubs, or attend 4-H afterschool at one of 21 elementary sites. <br />The afterschool middle school program is now available at three sites. <br /> <br /> <br />
