Greek~-ersonnel Analyst <br />North Central Regional Office <br /> <br />DATE: September 12, 2000 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Request for a Staff Development Specialist II <br /> <br />After careful review and comparison, the job description submitted to. this 6ffice in Consideration <br />of a StaffDevelopment Specialist II position is found to be appropria!ely'classified; ........ :':(~ .. <br /> <br />This position will be established for your agency upon receipt of the PD-I. 18:'. The positi$fiiis not <br />currently in your Pay Plan. You may want to contact your County Personne!-,D~'p~ent and <br />request the addition of this Staff Development Specialist II positi°n to your County PayPlan. It <br />is classified at State Pay Grade 69. It is in Occupational Grouping 1802. At the present time <br />there are no other positions in your county in this Group so the position can' be classified either at <br />the 69 'level or at a + or - level that your CoUnty Personnel Depam. ent and,' your County <br />Commissioners deem appropriate. If you are able to submit the paper work for this addition along <br />with the PD-118 it can be released immediately upon receipt of the appropriate paper work. <br />Otherwise, the PD-118 will be held Until the paper work for the Pay Plan addition is received. <br /> <br />I believe that the establishment of this position (StaffDevelopment Specialist II) will give you the <br />help you need in the areas of training and organ/zational effectiveness as well as enable you to <br />keep the County Social Services Business Officer I position intact. <br /> <br />Should you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call at extension 14. <br /> <br /> <br />
