After discussion, it was agreed that this issue would he considered on December 4~ after the new me,ers of the Board take office. Chairman Fennel opened the meeting for Informal Public Comments at 6:4S Mr. and Mrs. Joel Hfott, residents of 6805 Timberwood Drive, Harrisburg, listed concerns about the construction of the SA-inch Harrisburg- Rocky River Interceptor project by the Water and Sewer Authority of Cabarrus County (WSACC). They said the project had negatively impacted their property by creating a steep hill behind their house. According to Mr. and Mrs. Hfott, the hill is a safety hazard and cuts them off from the rear 100 feet of their property. They presented a video showing their property and the interceptor project. Ms. Karen Wilkinson, resident of 6015 Timberwood Drive, Harrisburg, also complained that her property had been damaged by the interceptor project. The Authority will be asked to notify Mr. and Mrs. Wiott and Ms. Wilkinson of the next Board of Directors meeting. A report was included in the agenda from Mr. Don Cummings, Human Resources Director, regarding the Board's October 16~ request for a reco~endation concerning additional compensation for ~uardsmen and reservists who are activated for an extended period of duty. It was Mr. Cummings' recommendation that the County ~naintain its current policy.
