Bamhart, a <br />member of the Board of Commissioners, was elected to represent the North <br />Carolina 81 st Legislative District. In order to serve as a one of our Representatives, <br />Mr. Bamhart will be required to vacate his seat on the Board of Commissioners. By <br />statute the vacancy created by his resignation shall be filled by a person <br />recommended by the political party of Mr. Bamhart's affiliation, the Republican <br />Party. <br /> The Executive Board of the Cabarrus County Republican Party met on <br />November 21st to discuss, nominate and elect a replacement for Mr. Bamhart on the <br />Board of Commissioners. <br /> As Chahman of the Cabarrus County Republican Party, I am charged with <br />advising this Board of our recommendation. <br /> We are pleased and honored to submit to this Board for approval the name of <br />Mr. Robert M. Freeman of Concord. We believe Mr. Freeman exemplifies the <br />ideals and philosophy of the Republican Party. We believe Mr. Freeman has the <br />leadership skills needed to make the tough decisions facing this Board in the future. <br />We stand unanimously and solidly behind Robert M. Freeman as our choice. <br /> This recommendation becomes effective upon the resignation of Mr. Jeffrey <br />L.
