Resolution No. 2000- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE REGULAR MEETING SCHEDULE <br /> FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2001 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the regular meetings of the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners are <br />currently held on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Commissioners' Meeting <br />Room at the Governmental Center; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday and the National Association of <br />Counties Annual Conference require a change in the regular meeting dates in January and July, <br />2001, respectively. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Cabarrus County Board of <br />Commissioners, pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40(a), does hereby reconfimx <br />its regular meeting schedule to meet on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the <br />Commissioners' Meeting Room at the Governmental Center with the exception of the January <br />2001 meeting which will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2001, and the July 2001 <br />meeting which will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 2001. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the regular meeting dates of the Cabarrus County <br />Board of Commissioners for the calendar year 2001 are as follows: <br /> <br />January 16, 2001 (Tuesday) <br />February 19, 2001 <br />March 19, 2001 <br />April 16, 2001 <br />May 21, 2001 <br />June 18, 2001 <br />July 23, 2001 <br />August 20, 2001 <br />September 17, 2001 <br />October 15, 2001 <br />November 19, 2001 <br />December 17, 2001 <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any recessed, special or emergency meeting will <br />be held as needed with proper notice as required by North Carolina General Statute 153A-40. <br /> <br />Adopted this the 4th day of December, 2000. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Chakman, Board of Commissioners <br /> <br />Frankie F.
