STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA <br /> <br />COUNTY OF CABARRUS <br /> <br />TO: <br /> <br /> !t_ OE Rnr, CO T OV ruST,CE <br /> <br /> .., <br /> ~ ~ ~0 ~9-A ~ICI~ DIST~CT <br /> <br />T~ CLE~ OF S~E~OR CO'~T' "" ' C" ' <br /> <br />OFC US CO Y - - <br /> ) ORDER <br />~L ~GIS~S OF ~ 19-A ) <br /> ) <br />~ICI~ DIST~CT ) <br /> <br /> The undersigned Senior Resident Superior Court Judge and the Chief District Court Judge <br />for the 19-A Judicial District, having met and formulated the attached policies for pretrial release <br />in accordance with G.S 15A-535, IT IS ORDERED that these policies shall be used to determine <br />whether and upon what conditions a defendant may be released before trial in the 19-A Judicial <br />District. <br /> <br /> It is also ORDERED that, notwithstanding the focus of these policies on instructions to <br />magistrates, these policies are also applicable to all judicial officials holding office or presiding in <br />this district except as otherwise provided by law. <br /> <br /> It is further ORDERED that copies of these policies shall be distributed by the Clerk of <br />Superior Court of Cabarrus County to all judicial officials of the said 19-A Judicial District, to the <br />Sheriff of Cabarms County, to the Troop E State Highway Patrol Commander, and the Chiefs of <br />Police of the Kannapolis Police Department and the Concord Police Department; and that the <br />Clerk of Superior Court shall cause a copy hereof to be kept on file with the courtroom clerk in <br />all courts of this district. <br /> <br /> Entered in chambers in Concord, North Carolina on the _t~,'A/I/~ day of ~ , <br />1998.
