CERTIFICATION OF JUVENILE CRIME PREVENTION COUNCILS <br /> JUVENILE REFORM ACT OF 1998 <br /> <br />COUNTY: DATE: <br /> <br />CERTIFICATION STANDARDS <br /> <br />STANDARD #1: · <br /> <br />A) Is a copy of the council membership recommended in the statute attached? <br />B) Are newly appointed members who served on the Youth Service Advisory <br /> Council checked on the "Proposed Crime Prevention Council" list? <br />C) Do all members of the Juvenile Crime Prevention Council meet the statutory <br /> guidelines? If not, which members do not meet the guidelines? <br /> <br />D) Does your council membership meet the statutorygui~lelines? If not, why? <br /> <br />STANDARD #2: <br /> <br />Have all newly appointed Council members received a copy of relevant <br />provisions from the Juvenile Justice Refoim Act OVCG$147-33.60-147.33.67,)? <br /> <br />STANDARD #3: <br /> <br />A) Will the new Council collect and provide the annual needs assessment <br /> information as was previously collected by the Youth Services Advisory <br /> Council? <br />B) Will the new Council comply with the statutory requirements to prioritize <br /> funding of local programs for youth who have been adjudicated delinquent <br /> and in need of intermediate or community-based sanctions? <br /> If conflicts w/th this goal exist, please describe: <br /> <br />STANDARD <br /> <br />Will funds provided by the 1998 formula funds allocation be used for the <br />priority programs o fire-Home Family Counseling, Substance Abuse <br />Services, and/or Day Reporting Centers for youth who have been adjudicated <br />delinquent and placed in the community through an intermediate or community <br />sanction? <br />If not, please provide documentation of how service needs in these areas <br />will be met and list the programs for which funds will be used: <br /> <br />Signature, Chairperson/Juvenile Crime Prevention Council <br /> <br />Date <br /> <br /> <br />
