By-laws 5/14/97 <br />Pg. 2 <br /> <br />ARTICLE III: Members <br /> <br />Section 1 - Numbers and Qualification <br />As specified in the Memorandum of Understanding (Agreement # 02-01-95) the TCC <br />shall include technical representatives from local and state govemment agencies directly <br />related to, and concerned with the transportation planning process for the planning area. <br />Each member agency representative, and their alternate, shall be designated by the chief <br />administrative officer of that agency. The voting membership shall include, but notbe <br />limited to, the following: <br /> <br />· Planning Director, City of Concord <br />· Director of Public Works, City of Concord <br />· Director of Public Works, City of Kannapolis '. <br /> <br />· Aviation Director, Concord Regional Airport .. <br />· Planning Director, City of Kannapolis <br />· Plarming Director. Cabarrus County. <br />· Planning Director, Rowan County. <br />· Planner, Town of China Grove <br />· Representative from the Town of Landis <br />· Planner from the Town of Harrisburg <br />· Thoroughfare Planning Engineer. Statewide Planning Branch - NCDOT <br />· Cabarrus - South Rowan Area Coordinator. Statewide Planning Branch - NCDOT <br />· Division Engineer. Division 9 - NCDOT <br />· Division Engineer. Division 10- NCDOT <br />· Area Traffic Engineer. Traffic Engineering Branch - NCDOT <br />· Division Traffic Engineer. Division 10 - NCDOT <br />· Director of Public Transportation- NCDOT <br />· District Engineer. Division 9 - NCDOT <br />· District Engineer. Division 10- NCDOT <br /> <br />Tb.e TCC may add to or delete from this list upon majority, vote. <br /> <br />$.ection 2 - Terms <br />There will be no limitation on the length of time a member may serve on the TCC subject <br />to the authorization to do so by their respective agency's chief administrative officer. <br /> <br />Section 3 - Altertaate$ <br />Each member agency shall appoint an alternate to its representative provided each <br />alternate also meets the same qualifications of membership. The alternate may serve as a <br />full voting member during any meeting ~vhere that board's representative is not in <br />attendance. Proxy and absentee voting are not permitted.
