Box 707
Concord, NC 28026-0707

Dear Mr. Clifton,

Greetings from NuCare Carolina! We are excited about our application for an
ambulance franchise in Cabarrus County, and we appreciate your consideration of this
request. In the pages that follow, we will hopefully answer your questions about our
company and the non-emergency services we seek to offer to the hospitals, nursing
homes, healthcare providers, and the citizens of your county.

You will learn about the NuCare family's rich 20-year history of excellence in
this field, and you will meet our North Carolina Management Team, an experienced
group of local professionals in the Ambulance Transportation industry.

NuCare Carolina has already distinguished itself in the Piedmont, as we have
bases in Forsyth, Mecklenburg, and Iredell Counties, and we have included a list of
providers to speak in reference to the high level of quality care they currently enjoy from
our service.

I now respectfi~lly submit this proposal to you and the County Commissioners of
Cabarrus County, and welcome your calls to discuss any and all of this in further detail. I
am quite proud of the community-centered and patient-centered ambulance service
NuCare Carolina has become, and we look forward to bringing this excellence in service
the medical community in Cabarrus County. Since opening in North Carolina in 1997,
our vision and role has been that ora partner with the health care providers we are
privileged to serve.

As you now move tbrth with your consideration of our application, please know
that you have my total commitment for an exemplary service which shall contribute and
enhance the well-being of the citizens of Cabarrus County. Thank you, and until we talk
again, I wish for you many ............

Dire~t

: of MarkeUng, NuCare Carolina

226 Signal Hill Drive · Statesville.
