June 15, 1999 Additions/Deletions to the Preliminary FY2000 Budget: Transfer of $122,325.00 from CIP School Park Improvements to the Harrisburg School Park in order to provide construction of four baseball fields at the new Harrisburg Elementary School. Carry Forward of $12,517 from FY 1999 - Signs for Governmental Center Project will not be completed as of June 30, 1999 Carry Forward of $35,000 from FY 1999 - Brick Wall Enclosure for the new Generator for the Sheriffs Department. Schools - Current Expense: ADM funding of $825 increased to $828 to provide two school health nurses at a total cost of $64,806. Transfer of $817,432 from Cabarrus County Property Maintenance Budget to Cabarrus County Schools Grounds Maintenance of $700,866.20 and Kannapolis City Schools Grounds Maintenance of $116,565.80. Schools - Capital Outlay: Decrease of $1,000,000 for School Site Purchases and increase of $1,000,000 for Building Maintenance Increase of $19,000 in the Sheriff's Department budget for Fire Alarm System Per John Day. Cabarrus Juvenile Crime Prevention Council School Health Program contribution increase of $12,541. CBA Restitution Program contribution decreased $20,208. CBA Uwharrie Group Homes contribution decreased $4,020. Unemployment Compensation expense increased $8,365. Medical Consultants/Jail increased $2,344 for funding of two jail nurses for Cabarrus Health Alliance. Carry Forward of $66,429 from FY 1999 - Jackson Park and Fred L. Wilson (Kannapolis Playground) Carry Forward of $ 26,997 from FY 1999 - Rocky River School Park (Ballfield lights installation and materials) Increase revenue of $250,000 for the PARTF W.W. Flowe Park State Grant Award of May 10, 1999. Increase expense of $250,000 for PARTF W. W. Flowe Park Board of Commissioners and the City of Concord Council appropriated funds of $88,500 toward Concord Middle/Irvin School Parks Improvements; therefore, creating a reduction of $66,000 which was funded in FY 1999 budget
