CABARRUS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Meeting Date: 6/21/99 Agenda Item # ~'- db-- <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Appointments - Region F Aging Advisory Council <br /> <br />The terms of appointment for Dr. Wallace Early, Estelle Ferraro and Lena Bowen (Alternate) end <br />on June 30, 1999. Dr. Early has served 8 consecutive years (2years as alternate and 6years as a <br />regular member) on the Advisory Council. In order to consider him for reappointment, the Board <br />would need to make an exception to the Appointment Policy. <br /> <br />Ms. Ferraro has served one year as a regular member (3 years as alternate member) of the Advisory <br />Council and is eligible for reappointment. She has indicated an interest in being considered for <br />reappointment. <br /> <br />Ms. Bowen has served one year as an alternate member. She has indicated that she does not wish <br />to be considered for reappointment to the Advisory Council. <br /> <br />REQUESTED ACTION: Make appropriate appointments/reappointments to two positions for <br />terms of two years each.
