at any time claim through or under either of them, each hereby waives, to the full extent <br />that it may lawfully do so, the benefit of such laws. <br /> <br />ARTICLE XIII <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br /> <br /> 13.1 Notices. All notices, certificates or other communications hereunder <br />shall be sufficiently given and shall be deemed given when delivered or mailed by <br />registered mail, postage prepaid, addressed as follows: <br /> <br />(a) If intended for the County, addressed to it at the following address: <br /> <br />Caban'us County Governmental Center <br />P. O. Box 707 <br />Concord, NC 28026-0707 <br />Attention: County Manager <br /> <br /> (b) If intended for the Board of Education, addressed to it at the <br />following address: <br /> <br />Cabamas County Board of Education <br />P. O. Box 388 <br />Concord, NC 28026-0388 <br />Attention: Superintendent <br /> <br /> 13.2 Binding Effect. This Lease shall be binding upon and inure to the <br />benefit of the Board of Education and the County, subject, however, to the limitations <br />contained in Article XI. <br /> <br /> 13.3 Amendments, Changes and Modifications. This Lease may not be <br />amended, changed, modified or altered without the Trustee's written consent. <br /> <br /> 13.4 Net Lease. This Lease shall be deemed and construed to be a "net lease," <br />and the Board of Education shall pay absolutely net during the Lease Term all other <br />payments required hereunder, free of any deductions, and without abatement or setoff. <br /> <br /> 13.5 Payments Due on Holidays. If the date for making any payment or <br />the last day for performance of any act or the exercising of any fight, as provided in this <br />Lease, shall not be a Business Day, such payment may be made or act performed or fight <br />exercised on the next preceding day that is a Business Day with the same force and effect <br />as if done on the nominal date provided in this Lease. <br /> <br /> <br />
