Little, Director <br /> <br />Subject: BMX Proposal for Frank Liske Park <br /> <br /> The Harrisburg Youth Association has proposed construction of a BMX Track (bicycle) <br />at Frank Liske Park. <br /> <br />Based on the proposal~ the Harrisburg Youth Association will assume the following <br />responsibilities: <br /> <br />1. Enforce and adhere to Harrisburg Youth/Cabarrus County use agreement for operation and <br /> management of the BMX facility at Frank Liske Park. <br />2. Construction of BMX facility which includes all materials, permits, etc., for the following <br /> project elements: <br /> - BMX Track <br /> - starting stand, concession building <br /> - perimeter fencing (6 feet high) <br /> - lights <br /> - water utilities <br /> - portable restrooms (proposal for permanent restrooms in the future) <br /> - bleachers <br />3. Operate, supervise, maintain and manage the BMX facility <br />4. Pay utilities <br />5. Cabarrus County is named as an additional insurer for $5,000,000 coverage for 365 days per <br /> year, 24 hours a day. <br />6.
