The Amendment was mandated by State welfare reform legislation signed into law August 4, 1999. The Amendment to the County's Plan provides for the following: (1) The County will provide empto~ent-related services to non- custodial parents of Work First children when the non-custodial parent's family income is at or below 200% of poverty and in accordance with the policy outlined in Work First policy. (2) The County will provide services to families with children when the family income is at or below 200% of poverty and in accordance with the policy outlined in Work First Policy. (3) The County will provide emergency assistance in accordance with the basic eligibility requirements given in the State Plan. The family's gross income must be at or below 150% of the poverty level (rather than the 200% maximum permitted in the State Plan.) Professional Service A=reement with WoelDer~ LLP for Ph~e 0n9 Devel~pmpnt of the North Caharrus Park UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Co~nissioner Fennel and unanimously carried, the Board approved the ~Professional Service Agreement between Woolpert LLP and Cabarrus County" for Phase One Development of the North Cabarrus Park. The Contrac~ Agreement at a total cost of $54,800.00 provides for the following: $38,000.00 Basic Design Services (Phase One) (Construction documents and construction administration)
