The City has
proposed the development of a low-moderate income subdivision on the parcel
and intends to use HOME program funds to make necessary infrastructure
improvements and to construct some of the new housing. This will allow the
County to use the value of the contributed land towards the required local
match for its HOME Program. However, the subdivision will probably not be
constructed in time for the contribution to count towards the required County
match this year.

UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Fennel
and unanimously carried, the Board agreed to transfer to the City of Concord
the County's 50 percent share of Parcel 5620-89-2960 located off Church
Street at Simpson Drive and authorized the County Manager and County Attorney
to complete the transaction.

Pla~ninq Services - Budget Amendment to Establish Fundin~ for the 1999-2000
County ~QME Pro,ram

UPON MOTION of Commissioner Privette, seconded by Commissioner Fennel
and unanimously carried, the Board adopted the following budget amendment.

BUDGET REVISION/AMENDMENT REQUEST
DEPARTMENT OF PLANNING
AMO~/NT: $148,944.00
TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT: Supplemental Request
PURPOSE OF REQUEST: To set up the HOME 99 project revenues and expenses.

Present Approved
Account NO.
