Cabarrus Regional Chamber of Commerce <br /> Partnerships for Planning, Progress, Prospen'~y. <br /> <br />Highlights of the Five-Year Strategic Plan <br /> <br />There are four key strategies: <br /> <br />Workforce.Development - The Chamber will work closely with the public school system <br />and area colleges to ensure that the current and future labor needs of the Cabarrus region's <br />business and industry are met. <br /> <br />Marketing and Business Development - The Chamber will work with the City and County <br />as well as local and state economic development agencies to aggressively recruit new non- <br />industrial businesses to the area. <br /> <br />Transportation Management - The Chamber will work with regional partners to open the <br />Cabarrus region to ingress and egress through expanded rail, air and land transportation <br />corridors. <br /> <br />New Chamber Headquarters - The new facility will house the merged Chamber along <br />with the Convention and Visitors Bureau, a Cabarrus Visitor's Center and a Small <br />Business Center.
