It brings our entire community, both public <br />and private sectors, into partnership for the good of the Cabarrus region. This important economic <br />and community development program will have a positive impact on our businesses, our economic <br />well being and our quality of life. <br /> <br />Partnership for Tomorrow is a five-year initiative sponsored by the Cabarrus Regional Chamber <br />of Commerce. It will allow the Chamber to enhance our area's workforce, recruit new businesses, <br />support existing businesses and establish a new Chamber headquarters facility and visitor's center for <br />the Cabarrus region. Partnership for Tomorrow is an opportunity for business leaders and <br />public officials to ioin forces and move our community forward in competition for new business and <br />industry and the benefits they provide to our area. <br /> <br />Partnership for Tomorrow is an ambitious program with an ambitious goal, but it is one we can't <br />afford to pass up. We have established the goal for this vital program at $2,350,000 over the next five <br />years. CT Communications, as well as many other local companies, has already made a significant <br />commitment of time, energy and financial resources to the success of the Partnership for <br />Tomorrow initiative. I urge you to join us in leading this important program to achieve its goals, <br />because ensuring the economic health and vitality of our community is everyone's job! <br /> <br />We respectfully request that the County of Cabarrus consider a pledge of $1~,000~o Partnership <br />for Tomorrow.
